Nothing is better then getting together for a weekly poker game with the friends. It seem to break the work week up and give you a chance to catch up with friends. I also feel there is no better way to set the mood for o a weekly game then to have a nice poker table to play on. I think it allows you to make the night feel like even more of an escape.
